A few people have enquired to me about which type of ring of light I use, how much it cost and where I bought it. I thought it would be worth shedding some light (no pun intended, of course not!) on this beautiful piece of equipment.
Ladies and gentlemen, I proudly present to you my homemade Ring Of Light:
This Light ring cost me circa $100. It was entirely built by my father, using most of the following tutorial:
For security reasons, we decided to make a few selected changes to the unit electrical wiring, bearing in mind that my priority was to stay alive throughout the shootings.
I can seamlessly adjust the light intensity produced by the 12 light bulbs.
I enjoy staring at how the light generated by this device is directly reflected into the eyes, but more importantly, I absolutely love how the overall luminosity gets projected onto the model’s face.
